Obituary of Albert N. Vertucci

Albert N. Vertucci, age 86, of Gloversville passed away Sunday September 12, 2010 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was born in Gloversville, NY on August 14, 1924 the son of the late Domonick and Colinda Nicolella Vertucci. Albert served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. Albert worked for many years as a principal for the Newfane Central School District in Newfane, NY. Albert enjoyed gardening, watching John Wayne western movies and going to the YMCA. He was also an avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by a son, Michael Vertucci of Reno, NV, a daughter, Lisa Vertucci Barbara of New York, NY and two granddaughters, Zoe and Alexa. Additional survivors include two brothers, Frank Vertucci and Edward Vertucci. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium, Schenectady. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
