Obituary of Cynthia M. Wall
Mrs. Cynthia M. Wall, 48, of State Highway 10, Ames, NY died suddenly on Saturday, September 25, 2010 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Cooperstown, NY on August 3, 1962 she was the daughter of Robert Dennis and Madeline Bose Dennis.
A lifelong area resident, Cindy was a graduate of Owen D. Young Central School and was employed by Beech-Nut in Canajoharie as a forklift operator for over 30 years. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, horseback riding, motorcycles and being outdoors. She lived everyday to its fullest and enjoyed just being Cindy.
On May 29, 1982 she was united in marriage to her best friend, Dale A. Wall. Married for 28 years, they enjoyed being with one another and raising their family. Just recently they returned from a cruise in Alaska, where they had the time of their lives. Above all, she loved her children and cherished her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband Dale Wall; two sons, Staff Sergeant Daniel Wall and his wife Crystal of Whiteman Air Force Base, MO and Nick Wall of Ames, NY; one daughter, Becky Allen and her husband Shawn of Gloversville, NY; two grandsons, Shawn Matthew Allen and Patrick Donald Allen; her parents, Robert Dennis of Dolgeville, NY and Madeline Lombardo and her husband Frank of Schenevus, NY; three brothers, Robert Dennis and his wife Barbara of St. Johnsville, NY, Thomas Dennis and his wife Kara of Ft. Edward, NY, Christopher Dennis and his wife Deborah of Hartwick, NY; and one sister, Cathy Dennis of Laurens, NY.
Additional survivors include her father and mother in law, Arthur and Elsie Wall of Palatine Bridge, NY; a sister in law, Tammy Dennis of Schuyler Lake, NY; as well as many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Matthew Dennis.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 11 o'clock at Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. Cindy's final ride to heaven will follow and burial will take place in the Ames Cemetery, Ames, NY.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 4 until 7p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
