I am so sorry to hear of Kenny's passsing. I got to know him rahter well as I delivered his prescriptions to him regularly when he lived on State Street. He was a unique individual who had a heart of gold and a longing for friendship. Now he is forever surrounded by his beloved Mother and many, many friends.

I use to deliver groceries to Mr. Hahn 15-20 years ago and he was always a delight to talk to. He loved singing and watching movies. I didn't see him again until a few years back when my wife's grandmother started living at the Palatine nursing home.I had to remind him at first of our connection but soon he remembered me. I would visit him most every week while visiting my grandmother in law and he was the same man I knew years before. He would always sing to my wife and kids and I enjoyed talking to him. Although he was an only child and had a very harsh upbringing, he seemed upbeat whenever I saw him. He seemed to enjoy my company especially when I brought him a sundae from Stewarts. He loved the singer Al Jolsen which I got the "honor" of watching a movie of his with him on a few occasions. He was a good man that few people had the opportunity to meet and I am glad I was one of them. I will miss you Mr. Hahn.
