To Joyce and Family,
Lionel will be missed by so many who enjoyed his company at city events, Rotary, and with Joyce at Century Club activities. Joyce being a long time member of the Century Club of course brought Lionel to all the functions. His smile and hugs are forever remembered. I will miss you, Lionel. My thoughts are with Joyce and family at this time.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lionel and his wonderful wife Joyce a half-dozen or so times over the past 20 years, each time greeted as a member of the family and made welcome. My brother John would regale me frequently with stories of Lionel's warmth, guidance, and help; he acted as a true father to John and was a role model to my nephew Ian. Despite having an expansive family with branches and twigs that spread far, Lionel and Joyce always made just enough room for the Yeara's to feel at home. My condolences my sister-in-law Deb and the forest that is family Fallows.

LTC Fallows was a very special person. He was bright, friendly, loyal and always there to lend counsel to anyone who stopped by his office. I'm proud to have known such a great man and send my heartfelt condolences upon his passing. My most enduring memory of Col. Fallows happened at the 109th the day I was to be commissioned to 2nd LT. I stopped by the base on my way to work (at IBM) with my military uniform but did not bring military shoes. This turned out to be a big issue since I had to be in complete uniform in order to be commissioned. LTC Fallows quickly diffused the situation by bringing me to his office and giving me a pair of his combat boots to wear, My wingtips were not appropriate but combat boots were OK. He was the only person on base who saw the irony in this. I regret that I'm unable to attend his wake or funeral. He will be missed. LTC Brian R Cranston

Col. Fallows was a perpetual influence in my life. Having grown up 2 doors down with connecting back yards, I have numerous life long memories of our interactions, along with the pleasure of knowing his outstanding family. Anyone that knew Col. Fallows knows that he had the gift of life and gracefully instilled it on everyone around him.
I have a heavy heart knowing he has left us, but find peace in knowing he has moved on to be with the grace of God.
Watching his constant hard work and observing him treat everyone with nothing but good will and respect (especially to the loud trouble-maker kid next door), are just two of the lessons he taught me and I carry them with me every day and will use them for the rest of my time. What a gracious human being.
So, thank you Lionel, I am forever grateful to you and am blessed to have known you.
My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Fallows family. Col. Fallows was a special man! I will never forget him, especially when I am enjoying a slice of Rhubarb pie.
Your friend,
Andy Isburgh

When I was little I thought you were Hercules you could build a fortress out of nothing. As we were older we grew to know the man who never said a bad word about anyone. You didn't even swear all we heard wa sugary sugary shite. You always put your wife and kids first although your work took you far. You always were so.proud of each of them as well as your grandchildren and great children. My sister and I will always be grateful for the past 30 years of spending holidays with you. You taught me to be humble, grateful and that there is always someone less fortunate than me. Your words are engraved I'm my heart be mindful of others. Be thankful for what you have and pray for those less fortunate rip our uncle Lionel. Kitty and nancy
