Obituary of Keith Kretser

Keith ?Mike? Kretser, 71, formerly of the Town of Canajoharie, died peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2010 at the St. Johnsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mike was a lifelong area resident who enjoyed hunting and loved his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. On August 1, 1959 he was united in marriage to the former, Shirley Lou Jones. That union lasted 41 years until her passing on November 1, 2000. Survivors include his three daughters, Nadine Peter Williams of Canajoharie; Kay Lewis of Thomasville, NC and Colleen Allan Fuhs of Gloversville; four grandchildren, Gary Williams, James Williams, Frankie Lewis, Jr. and Alycia Lewis; three great grandchildren, Cristal Williams, Jay Williams and Nathan Lewis. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Time of Remembrance on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 5 until 8p.m. at the Boiling Pot Eagles #3845, Church Street, Canajoharie, NY. At Mike?s request there are no formal funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.
