Obituary of Ethel L. Comeau

Ethel L. Comeau, 85, of Fort Plain, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010. Born March 17, 1925 in Buford, SC, she was the daughter of McNear and Alma Howe Cunningham. Ethel lived in Gloversville much of her life and was a glovemaker. She is survived by he daughter, Anne MusheroClarence of Fort Plain; a son, James Kinard of Mayfield and a brother, Nathan Bethers of Long Island. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Johnstown Reformed Church, 351 North Perry Street, Johnstown. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
