Obituary of June S. Mead

June S. Mead, 88, formerly of Duanesburg, NY went home to be with her Lord on November 22 , 2010 at her home in Port Charlotte, Fl. Both June and her husband retired from General Electric Co in Schenectady, NY where she was an Illustration Editor for the Company News and Promotional Dept. June and her husband had a home on Duane Lake for many years until she moved to Florida in 2003. She was the eldest of five children born to Elroy and Alma Sweers in Amsterdam, NY. Besides her husband, Raymond H. Mead, she is also predeceased by her sister Paula Reakes, formerly of Hagaman, NY. She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Julien of MA, a sister, Ina Keillor of MN and a brother, Edwin Sweers of SC. Relatives and friends are invited to join a graveside service of remembrance on June 25, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the Hagaman Cemetery in Hagaman, NY, where the interment will also take place.
