Mike and I became friends on Party Poker - we more recently used Instant Messenger to communicate. I learned of his life, his family and his love for his Lord - we formed a special bond because my daughter is terminally ill and he would comfort me, pray with me and make me smile. He introduced me to his nieces and nephew and his sisters, his Mom and dear father and baby Grace. I felt I had known him much longer than the 3 years we communicated. He was a very special - gentle - man. To the family I offer my heartfelt sympathy - I will miss him always. TO MOURN TOO LONG FOR THOSE WE LOVED IS SELF INDULGENT - BUT TO HONOUR THEIR MEMORY WITH A PROMISE TO LIVE A LITTLE BETTER FOR LOVING THEM GIVES PURPOSE TO THEIR LIFE AND SOME REASON FOR THEIR DEATH.

To the Family of Michael
Michael was a remarkable person. I had the joy of knowing him from the time he was a little guy until he became grown up. I was on the staff of Tecler and we became friends from day one. Through the years we would run into each other and he always had a story to tell. H e had wonderful parents who supported him and he was always aware of that. They made him the type of person he was and that is something that you should all be proud of. I will miss him. You are in my prayers and God Bless each and every one of you.

So sorry to see Mike passed away. He used to come to our house to see our son, even though we lived on the second floor he would get up there to hang out. It will be strange not seeing him around the city. He will be missed. Warren and Rita

My deepest condolences to all of you. Mike was my best friend for 29 years. We laughed, cried, and had some great times. He had a heart of platinum. He was there for me to help me in tough times, and I loved him for it. I will truly miss him. He was there for the birth of my first and second children. He was loved by so many. He was one of the first people I met when I first came to this area back in 1982. My heart goes out to everyone. There will never be another quite like Mike.

I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss seeing Michael ride around in his chair. I remember watching him in amazement time after time going up and down the streets and the market street bridge not letting that chair keep him from getting out and keeping him down.
