Obituary of Marilyn J. Javarone

Mrs. Marilyn J. Loux Javarone, age 60, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at her home in Gloversville. She was born January 6, 1950 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Edward Loux and Lottie Gifford Loux. She was employed over the years by General Telephone Company, St. Thomas Inc; Grandoe Corp; a Laundromat in Watervliet, K-Mart in Rochester, a nursing home in Rochester, Amsterdam Print and Litho, Falk Industries and Robison & Smith. At the time of her death she was working as a caretaker for Mrs. Doris Fernandez. Marilyn was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting, the New York Mets and surfing the internet. She loved her dear pet cat. Survivors include: her daughter, Jennifer Javarone Jason Selwitz of Rensselaer; seven brothers and sisters, Gerald Loux Evelyn, Burlin Loux, Charles Loux Darlene, Raymond Loux Darlene, Sandra Migliavacca Bob, Donna Loux and Judith Gage John; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her other siblings: Edward Loux, Jr; Ronald Loux, Suzanne Bush and infant brother Gary Loux. The family will receive relatives and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, December 15 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd; Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Ave; S F1 17, New York, NY 10157.
