Obituary of Corrine Lawrence

Corrine Lawrence, age 87, of Gloversville passed away at Nathan Littauer Hospital Extended Care on Saturday December 11, 2010 after a long illness. She was born on March 4, 1923 in Gloversville, NY the daughter of the late Dominic and Fortuna "Flossie" Semprevio Priolo. On July 18, 1943 she married Ronald G. Lawrence Sr. They shared 66 years united in marriage until his passing on August 21, 2009. They had one son, Ronald G. Lawrence Jr. Corrine worked as a glove maker for several years. She also worked for MCA/Universal for 10 years. Corrine was a beautiful lady both in physical attributes as well as in her actions. In addition to her son Ron Jr., Corrine is survived by her sisters: Rose Loucks, Geri Scocco, a brother Philip PrioloMary and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Corrine was preceded in death by a sister Florence, two brothers Felix and Dominic Jr, as well as three infant sisters. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
