Obituary of Natalie Marie Biasini
Mrs. Natalie Marie Biasini, 79, of Forest Ave, Amsterdam, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday December 13, 2010 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 25, 1930 a daughter of late Lorenzo and Concetta Testa Materazzo. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and attended local schools.
Natalie worked for a short time for the former Mohawk Carpet Mills in Amsterdam. Most of her life she was a homemaker who took good care of her family. She was a member of the former St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Mrs. Biasini was also a member of the VFW Post #55 Ladies Auxiliary and her Wendy's Lunch Crew. She enjoyed reading, cooking for her friends and family and crocheting.
Natalie married Julius Biasini on June 27, 1954 in addition to her husband she is survived by a beloved daughter, Pam Lavicka and her husband Joseph of Amsterdam. Two loving sons, Wayne Biasini of Wells, NY and Christopher Biasini and his wife Kathleen of Gloversville, NY. Cherished grandchildren, Elise and Joseph Lavicka, Ashley, Natalie and Jason Biasini, Chelsey, Payton and Alana Biasini. Great-grandchildren, Contessa and Gabriel Flint. Brother and sisters include her twin sister, Susan Rowley, Josephine Petrosino, Elvira Simeone and her husband Steve and Patrick Materazzo and his wife Josephine. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Natalie was predeceased by a sister Anne Materazzo on October 2, 2008.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10:15A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15A.M. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Johnson, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.
