Obituary of Leslie C. Knowlton

Leslie C. Knowlton, 69, of Johnstown, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was born July 14, 1941 in Edinburg, the son of the late Myrtle Knowlton and Louie Hashie. Leslie was employed by Husmann in Gloversville where he worked in manufacturing. He loved being on the computer and going to car shows. He was an excellent musician and was an avid New York Yankees and Giants fan. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sandra Knowlton Moller of Johnstown; two daughters: Sandra Knowlton and Brenda Knowlton, both of Gloversville; a son, Leslie Knowlton, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren: Amber, Paul, Jasmine, Tyrell and Keriss, one great grandchild, Joshua; a brother: Butch Early Ruth of Northville; two sisters: Judy Pepper Skip of Northville and Julie Dimick George of Edinburg; a brother-in-law, Jerry Linquist and nieces, nephews and cousins. Leslie was predeceased by a brother, George Early and a sister, Cathy Linquist. Family and friends are invited and may call Saturday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to 12p.m. at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. Interment will take place at Edinburg Cemetery in the spring.
