Obituary of Louise S. Acker

Louise S. Acker, 78, of Gloversville, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Nathan Littauer Hospital. She was born January 15, 1932 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Louise Conine. Louise loved crossword puzzles and watching game shows on television. She was a very loving and generous woman. Louise always put others ahead of herself and was quick to forgive or lend a hand to anybody in need. She enjoyed being with her family and friends above all else. She will be very sadly missed. Survivors include a son, Parley Acker Terri of Coppell, TX; a daughter, Kimberley Goodier of Gloversville; four grandchildren: Katelyn Salvione, Ashley Salvione, Sydney Goodier and Lauren Goodier; two brothers: Jerry Conine Margaret and Tom Conine, both of Gloversville and several nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara and Janice. There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
