Obituary of Isabelle M. Walter

Mrs. Isabelle M. Walter, 90, of Gloversville, passed away Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born July 18, 1920 in Ft. Plain, daughter of the late Clarence M. and Pearl A. Dorman Thompson. She was educated in Gloversville schools. Isabelle was a machine operator at Gloversville Knitting Mill and also worked at Robison & Smith. She retired in 1982 from J.W. Sisson Co. Devoted to her children and grandchildren, she will be sadly missed by all her family. Survivors include her children: Linda Bronson Moore of Broadalbin, Karen Tony Parenti of Hooksett, New Hampshire and Gail Jerry Seelow of Oak Harbor, Washington State. She is also survived by a brother; Donald Thompson of Gloversville, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Isabelle was pre-deceased by two brothers; Harold Thompson and Clarence Thompson. Funeral services will be conducted 10 am Wednesday at Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
