Obituary of Marion E. Wright

Marion E. Wright, 82, of Dahalia Lane, Randall, NY, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side. Born in Grovenor Corners, NY on June 11, 1928 a daughter of the late Myron and Ella Bradt. She was a lifelong area resident and was a graduate of Cobleskill High School. Marion was employed at the Parrott House in Schoharie, NY and worked in the kitchen. She also was employed at the former Woods Restaurant also in Schoharie, NY and the Glen Travel Plaza. Marion married Sidney A. Wright Jr. He passed away in 1980. She is survived by two sons, Myron Wright and his wife Kathleen of Ocala, FL and Sidney Wright III and his wife Katherine of Texas. One daughter Kathy Rorick and her husband James A. of Randall, NY. Seven grandchildren, James Sr., Aaron, Andrew, Timothy, Chalaine, Dennise and Daryl. 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Marion was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy and Mildred and one brother Frank. There are no services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice for the wonderful care extended to Marion during her illness.
