Lesley - from the time you were born and blessed our lives with your beauty and charm, humor and loving ways, till this very day - you have been a star in our lives, and given us all such great memories. Lesley,
I have so many fond memories from my childhood when I think of you. The other day I was reminiscing about the great times that Tara, Jeremy, and I had spending with you when we were in middle and high school. I particularly enjoyed our adventures in grilling and camping out, and of course I cannot forget the fantastic birthday parties that you threw for Tara. There are so many great memories that you have been a part of. I know that you loved your family and children so much. If anything from your early passing, I have learned that life is really too short so live your days to the fullest and leave with no regrets. Many will surely miss you. Rest peacefully.

To June and her children and extended family: I just received word of Lesley's passing. My first thought was I haven't seen her in years and the last time I did we laughed and talked about the "old' days.
My thoughts go back to her and her beloved horse Shy when we were growing up. She was a natural on the back of God's most beautiful animal and she knew it. I wish for her a Heaven full of horses and her Dad and Harold to meet her at the gates to welcome her. RIP Lesley

Well Mom, I have been hesitating to sign your book because I feel that this makes it final. For days I have been struggling with that what I say here is the FINAL word...however it dawned on me today when watching my children and reflecting on my own childhood that nothing is forever. Kaeden, all of 5, has your perseverance, Kole, has your love for horses and is so free with his spirit just like you, my baby Channing, he has your forever deep and caring eyes. It is in them that I know your liveliness. It is in my own memories that I know your goodness. Although we didn't live close you were always in my thoughts, and even now, with you gone from your physical presence, you will live on in me and your grandchildren forever...because NOTHING is final, not even separation due to death. I have alot of memories of Leslie, the one that stands out the most is the junior/senior prom we went to. We have shed tears together and also had alot of laughs together. I haven't seen leslie in years sometimes life takes you in different directions from some of your friends. I have thought about Leslie over the years and I will always have nice memories of her and how she made my life better when I needed a shoulder to cry on.She always new how to make me laugh. Lesley was my friend for many years. I was thinking today about all the fun times we had as kid's up on Keeslers corners,Buging our brothers,riding our bikes on that gravel road, berry picking,horseback riding,driving her Mom crazy, going with her Dad on the milk truck, I kept thinking of different things we did and it brought a smile on my face instead of tears, I am sorry for her Family's loss, but know she is in a better place and was greeted by her Dad and Brother, and other loved ones RIP Lesley
