Obituary of Ronald A. Sinatra
Mr. Ronald A. Sinatra, 61, of Northern Blvd., Hagaman, NY entered eternal life on January 20, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam with his wife by his side.
Born in Amsterdam, NY on October 14, 1949 a son of the late Anthony R. and Mary Licardo Sinatra.
He resided in Tribes Hill as a child, later moving to Amsterdam, NY and finally to Hagaman, NY. He was a 1968 graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War Era aboard the U.S.S. Van Voorhis. Ronald also attended Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown, NY. He was employed for many years at G.E. in Schenectady working on Turbines and Generators retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Believers Fellowship Center in Johnstown, NY where he was an usher for many years. He was also a member of the IUE Local #301.
He married Arlene Siarkowski Sinatra on October 14, 1983. In addition to his loving wife survivors include; his children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Anthony Sinatra Jr. and a sister Betty Dybas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 3, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY with Pastor Phillip Carey presiding. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Believers Fellowship Center or to St. Mary's Hospital Oncology c/o the funeral home office.
