Obituary of Helene R. Kilmartin

Mrs. Helene R. Kilmartin, 82, of Division St., Fultonville, passed away Sunday morning at home. Born in Gloversville, NY on November 5, 1928 a daughter of Arch and Hazel Cossellmann Eschler. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a homemaker who took great care of her family. She was a member of the Club West in Ft. Plain and enjoyed playing Bingo and cooking for her family. She married Earl F. Kilmartin Sr. on August 24, 1948. He passed away on January 19, 1989. Survivors incluldeFive sons, Edward Lee Kilmartin Kathleen of Gloversville, NY, Earl F. Kilmartin Jr.Linda of Fultonville, NY, Donald R. Kilmartin Joy of Tribes Hill, NY, Lloyd A. Kilmartin Sondra of Fultonville, NY, Arthur J. Kilmartin of Fultonville, NY. One daughter, Sandi McCaslin Zane of Tribes Hill, NY. One brother, Andy Eschler of Tribes Hill, NY. One sister, Pearl DaCorsi of Gloversville, NY. Nine grandchildren, Zach, Sarah, Kerrigan, Justina, James, Kristi, Jennifer, Gary and Jessica. Five great-grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was predeceased by a grandson Craig and brothers Leo, Kenneth and Hartley Eschler. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 4, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St., Fultonville, NY with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williamss presiding. Interment will be in the spring in Maple Ave Cemetery, Fultonville, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home.
