Obituary of Joseph C. Rose

Joseph C. Rose, Sr., 49 of Fonda, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at his home. He was born October 26, 1961 in Amsterdam, NY, the son of the late Benjamin and Anna May Schichler Rose. Joe was a life time resident of the area and attended local schools. He worked as a fork lift operator for many years at Walmart Distribution Center in Johnstown, NY. Joe loved to watch Nascar, he also enjoyed his cigarettes and drinking Busch beer. He liked spending time working in the garage. Joe has always had a house full of kids and most of all enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His loving family includes his Fiancé, Rebecca Wilmot, his sons Joseph C. Rose, Jr. of Perth and Charles Rose of Fonda, his daughters Tina Marie Rose and Brittany Rose of Johnstown, Ashley Rose of Fonda; a brother Benjamin Rose, sister Laurie Lavoie, and his grandchildren Kiara Rose, Haven Marie Gasiewski, and step grandson Zachary Williams. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by Step daughter, Heather Thomas, and his sisters Jenny Costanzo and Tina Rose. Interment will be held privately at Evergreen Cemetery in Fonda, the family invites relatives and friends to join them at their home at 1 O' Clock on Thursday, February 10, 2011, 873 State Highway 334, Fonda NY 12068.
