My heart is sad and glad at the same time because of the passing of my Great Aunt Ora. Sad because the person is no longer with us and glad because her soul is with the Lord and has joined other saints such as Uncle Fred and her cousin Wavel my Great step-Grandma. Our lives have been blessed having her spirit touch us so. The picture of her on this website says it all - always had a twinkle in her eye and a smile. May we carry a bit of her caring and loving nature with us as we continue on our journeys.

My GREAT aunt Ora was indeed great. She wasn't mother Theresa but she had a kind heart and hard working hands, and never a mean word to say about anyone. She worked hard all of her life and was a remarkable woman. My most precious memories from childhood & young adulthood was to go visit her and have her show me her beautiful gardens, and play the organ for me. She never had time for tv, just for the news. I wished I had taken the time to have her teach me caining and reupholstering. She was my hero.
