Obituary of Dawn Marie Welke

Dawn Marie Welke 49, of Brookside Ave, Amsterdam, passed away peacefully Tuesday February 15, 2011 at her home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 26, 1961 a daughter of Richard Welke Sr. and Gertrude DiCaprio Welke. She was a lifelong Amsterdam area resident and was a 1979 graduate of Amsterdam High School. She lived in Ballston Spa for a time and then moved back to Amsterdam. Dawn worked in various mills in Amsterdam. She later worked at Walmart in Amsterdam and Square 1 Art. Dawn was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son Craig Johndrow Miki Goodspeed. One daughter, Heather Przyblowicz Justin. Grandson, Brandon and granddaughter Caylie. Three brothers, Richard Welke Jr., Walter Welke and David Palmieri of Amsterdam. Four sisters, Linda Mochrie Butch, Robin Welke of Broadalbin, Janet Slawenski Joe, Jean HarveyKeith of Amsterdam. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Dawn was predeceased by 2 brothers William Welke and Thomas Welke and a niece Donna Gentry. The Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday February 18, 2011 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
