Obituary of Patricia F. Rittenhouse

Patricia F. Rittenhouse, 53, of Indianapolis, passed away March 7, 2011. She was born on September 27, 1957, in Amsterdam, New York to Carl Andrew and Patricia Calhoun Nordby. Patricia graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Fulton Montgomery Community College. She was Employee of the Year at Raratin College, New Jersey. Patricia was a very loving, kind hearted, devoted mother and wife. Her gentleness, kindness, and selfless support will be missed by her many friends and beloved family. Survivors include her husband, Timothy Rittenhouse; a son, Brendan Fuge; brothers, Andrew Nordby, Eddie Nordby, Thomas Nordby; sisters, Mary Jane Ripley Don and Joan Czarri; stepdaughters, Kara Montanez and Amy Riveras; grandchildren, Anthony, Elanyana, Gideon, Aaralyn, Caleb, Atalie, and Ethan; nieces and nephews, Tyler, Kennedy, Lindsay and Michael; cousin, Kelly. Patricia was predeceased by a nephew Christopher Ripley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at 1:00 pm at the Ephratah Reformed Church, 140 County Highway 140, Ephatah, NY. Burial will take place in spring at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Tribes Hill, NY. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
