Obituary of Evelyn J. Studier

Mrs. Evelyn J. Studier, 76, formerly of Chuctanunda Street, Hagaman, NY died peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 following a long illness. A lifelong area resident, she was born in Amsterdam on July 1, 1934 and attended local schools. Mrs. Studier worked for many years at Amsterdam Printing and Litho Company until her retirement. She enjoyed being a homemaker, bowling and being at her camp in Hope. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family includes her only son, Kenneth F. Studier and his wife Barbara of Amsterdam, NY; three grandchildren, Crystal Del-Toro Kenneally and her husband Sean, Robert Studier and Ashleigh Studier; one great granddaughter, Isabella; one sister, Betty Hoffman and her husband Wallace of Schenectady, NY; a niece, Lynn Hoffman; and a nephew, Brian Hoffman and his wife Karen. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Studier and a sister, Dorothy Youngs. A Service of Remembrance will be conducted on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11 o'clock at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pine Street, Amsterdam, NY with the Rev. Dr. John Califano presiding. Interment of her remains will take place at a later date in the Hagaman Cemetery. In place of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Perth Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home.
