Obituary of Lucille Ussery Stanley

Mrs. Lucille Ussery Stanley, 100 years old, died Sunday at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, New York. She was born January 14, 1911 in Marble Falls, Texas, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Winifred Hardin Ussery. Mrs. Stanley moved to Amsterdam in 1939 where she resided until moving to the Eastern Star Home 5 years ago. On September 18, 1931 she married John Prince Stanley. He died August 28, 1984. Mrs. Stanley was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Amsterdam. She is survived by two cousins Lee Ussery of Marble Falls, Texas and Grady Calvert of Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Stanley is also survived by Bonnie Weigandt of Oriskany, NY and by her God Son Gregg MacNaughton of Fonda, NY. A Memorial Service will be held at Eastern Star Chapel in Oriskany at a later date. Mrs. Stanley donated her body to Albany Medical College Anatomical Gift Department. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private in the Hagaman Cemetery.
