Obituary of Clara M. Cionek

Clara M. Cionek 55, of Water Street, Johnstown, passed away Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Amsterdam, NY on November 27, 1955 a daughter of Martin and Anna Mae Richardson Cramer Sr. She was a lifelong Montgomery County and Fulton County resident. Clara worked for many years as an assembler at the former Coleco Industries and also for the former Brownies Lunch both in Amsterdam. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Amsterdam. She enjoyed playing pool, bingo and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She married Andrew H. Cionek Sr. on June 15, 1975. He passed away on Sept 22, 2007. Survivors include two sons, Andrew H. Cionek Jr. of Amsterdam, NY and Christopher John Cionek Sr. and his fiancé Tanya J. Wiederman of Johnstown, NY. One brother, Phillip Vennett of Schenectady, NY. Three sisters, Martha, Patricia and Sophie. 7 Grandchildren, Gary, Mariah, Christopher Jr., Alyssa, Clayton, David John and Drew Alexander. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 11:00A.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. There are no calling hours.
