Obituary of Benjamin D. Albea

Mr. Benjamin Drew Albea, 51, of Church St. Amsterdam, formerly of Hudson, NY, passed away Monday April 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Hudson, NY on February 21, 1960 a son of Earl Albea and Elsie Agnew. Mr. Albea attended Hudson Schools and was employed for a time in Hudson, NY. He is survived by his mom Elsie Agnew of Amsterdam. Three sisters, Vicky Hughes James of Amsterdam, Tobbie Ann Clanton Howard of Hudson, NY, Joyce Albea of Palatine Bridge, NY. Two brothers, Stacey Albea of Waterford, NY and Trenton Brandow of Troy, NY. Six nephews, James Hughes Jr., Tremayne Hughes, LaQuann Clanton, Howard Clanton Jr., Tony McCallop and Andrew Overby. His "Adopted Aunt" Hazel Murray and scores of other aunts, uncles and cousins. Benjamin was predeceased by his "adopted mom" Sadie Thompson, a brother, Vontrice Brandow, his father and his grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 30, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Bliss Towers Community Room, Hudson, NY 12534.
