Obituary of Mitchelle D. Shults

Mitchelle D. Shults, 50, passed away peacefully April 28, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born June 1, 1960 in Hudson, NY, the daughter of Kenneth Bowley, Sr. and Marjorie Haviland Bowley. Mitchelle was a life time resident of the area and attended local schools. She moved to Nantucket, MA for ten years but then returned home to Fort Plain. She was a proud mother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and gardening. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, James Tammy Young of Fort Plain and Billy Coffin of Nantucket, MA, her daughter Maria Young of Hyannis, MA; and seven grand children. She is also survived by her brothers Shane BowleyMarjorie, Kenneth BowleyTheresa, half brothers David BowleyNorma and Daniel Bowley; sister Denise CarterRobert and half sister Kim Stone. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. She is predeceased by her sister Debbie Bowley Olyer. Funeral services for Mitchelle will be held on Monday May 2, 2011 at 11 AM at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego St. in Canajoharie. Relatives and friends may visit from 9AM until 11AM prior to the funeral service. Burial will take place at Northville Cemetery on Tuesday at 1PM.
