Dear family. My name is Cynthia Smith Hennessy, and I knew the Hood family when I was a child growing up in Johnstown. Rev. Hood was my minister at the old UP Church. Richard was very nice to me when I was a small child; I remember he had a sister named Cynthia. He promised to marry me when I grew up. What funny things we remember.
My condolences to the family. I just happened to check the Johnstown paper and saw the obituary. I remember meeting you, Pal, on a couple of occasions. I lost my husband 6 1/2 years ago and understand the feelings you are going through.

To the Hood Family,
I am the daughter of the late: Joseph W. Bornt. My Dad and Judge Hood always stayed in touch with each other weekly on the telephone until my Dad's passing. They were the "best of friends." I am so sure that the both of them now have so much to catch up on. Judge Hood was a very nice man and his family as well. Very nice people. I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but Judge Hood is in greater hands now with our "Sweet Jesus." The Lord's Kingdom is filling up with the most beautiful people that this world could have ever known. God Bless the Family and all our love to Judge Hood who will always be remembered by many who knew him. Much Love, Sherry Lin & Cherish Angel Bornt
