Obituary of Marion Louise Lusso

Mrs. Marion Louise Lusso, 90, of Fultonville, NY, passed away Sunday May 15, 2011 at Nathan Littauer Hospital following a brief illness. Born in the Town of Charleston, NY on May 16, 1920 a daughter of George D. and Blanche Wood Hunter. She was a lifelong resident of the area and attended rural schools through the eighth grade. She graduated from Fultonville High School in 1938. In 1939 she was married to Frederick S. Lusso. He died October 7, 1981. She was a member of the Glen and Mohawk Group of Senior Citizens. She worked in several glove shops and worked for over 17 years at the Kasson and Keller Corp in Fonda retiring from there in 1986. She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Arlene Olechowski of Ft. Hunter, NY. Three grandsons, Martin Mulligan and his wife Marylouise of Gloversville, Craig Mulligan and his wife Michelle of Colonie, NY and Joseph Olechowski of Amsterdam, NY. Five great-granchildren, Meaghan Elizabeth Mulligan., Carlie Marie Mulligan and Abigail Rose Mulligan, Ryan Patrick Mulligan and Brendan Connor Mulligan. Cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 19, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Jackson and Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St. Fultonville, NY with Rev. Brett Popp presiding. Interment will be in Maple Ave Cemetery Fultonville, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday May 19, 2011 from 11:00A.M. to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association c/o the funeral home.
