Obituary of Cynthia Soulla Pacillo
Cynthia "Cindy" Soulla Pacillo, 54, of Division Street, Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital with her mom by her side. Born on April 17, 1957 she was the daughter of the late Vincent A. Soulla and Mary Smith Soulla.
Cindy was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools. She was employed with various companies throughout the area. Most recently she was a dispatcher for Yellow Cab. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was predeceased by her father and her brother, Michael V. Soulla in 2008.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Soulla of Amsterdam; two daughters, Carrie Pacillo Staley of Amsterdam and Bonnie Rosa and her husband of Ohio; two sisters, Deborah Teliha and her husband Michael of Amsterdam and Linda Soulla and her fiancé Gary Gutowski of Fort Johnson; seven grandchildren, Chelsey, Mark, Megan, Natasha, RJ, Carol and Bella. Additionally she is survived by many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 11 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Johnson. Relatives and friends are invited and may call this evening, Monday May 23, 2011 from 4 until 7p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Community Hospice both in care of the funeral home office.
