Obituary of Hazel H. Och

Mrs. Hazel H. Och, 78, of Amsterdam died peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on December 6, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Earl and Grace Young Shibley. A lifelong Mohawk Valley resident, Hazel grew up in Little Falls and worked as a clerk at Loblaws in Ilion, NY, before moving to Amsterdam, NY. Her loving family includes her neighbors and the Nursing staff at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Healthcare Facility. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will take place Wednesday, June 8th, 2011 at 10 o'clock at the Fort Plain Cemetery in Fort Plain, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edward L. Wilkinson Activities Fund in care of the funeral home office.
