Obituary of Jesse Coger

Jesse Coger Sr., age 73, of Gloversville passed away on Tuesday June 21, 2011 at Mountain Valley Hospice in Gloversville. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on April 20, 1938. He worked for various leather mills in the area, as well as for the Gloversville Department of Public Works until his retirement. Jesse enjoyed fishing, going to O.T.B and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by three sons: Jesse Coger Jr. of Bridgeport, CT, Darryl Coger Ginger of El Paso, TX, Jesse Coger III of Gloversville, five daughters: Jessica Coger, Angie Porter, Annette Smith Ken Gray, Linda Johnson all of Gloversville and Jerry Coger of North Carolina. Additional survivors include: a brother Fred Coger, two sisters: Jerry Coger, Alexis Coger, as well as 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Jesse was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Coger. Family and friends are invited and may call from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Monday June 27, 2011 at the Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
