Obituary of David Silverman

David Silverman, age 62, of Johnstown passed away on Saturday August 6, 2011 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was born on April 26, 1949 the son of Barret and the late Ruth Neivert Silverman. David enjoyed bowling and was a great dancer. He loved music, people and enjoyed life. David is survived by his father Barret Silverman of Gloversville, two brothers: Dr. Russell Silverman Nancy, Hal Silverman Stacey both of Fayetteville, NY, an aunt: Beatrice Sherman as well as four nephews: Zachary, Elias, Joshua and Daniel Silverman. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday August 7, 2011 at Knesseth Israel Cemetery, Gloversville with the Rabbi Rose Durbin officiating. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers and plants memorial contributions may be made in memory of David to Lexington Center, 127 East State Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
