Obituary of Wayne F. Flesh

Mr. Wayne F. Flesh, Sr. 70 of Chuctanunda St., Hagaman, NY, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 10, 2011 at his home. Born in Amsterdam, NY on July 23, 1941 a son of the late Raymond and Ethel Flesh. He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended local schools. Wayne was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at the former Breier Co. in Amsterdam and later by Greno Industries in Scotia where he worked as a machinist retiring after over 20 years of service. He was a former member of the John J. Wyszomirski Post 701 in Amsterdam. Mr. Flesh was an avid gardener and woodworker in his spare time and enjoyed being with his extended family. He was of the Baptist Faith. He married Phyllis A. Bazan Flesh on September 2, 1981. In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by his son, Wayne Melanie Flesh Jr. of Florida. Three daughters, Patricia Larry Nauman of Tennessee. Annette Will Piercy of Florida and Erika Baillargen Kenny of Tennessee. Two step-sons, Christopher Christina Stride of Florida and Jonathan Hutchison of Wilton, NY. Two step-brothers, George and Carl Brander of Florida. A step-sister, MaryLou Flesh of Arizona. Grandchildren, Kyle and Shaun Mingle, Vanessa and Rosanna Piercy, Wayne Flesh III, Kayleb Stride, Dylan and Devin Hutchison. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Arrangements are under the direction of the Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010. There are no calling hours or funeral services at Wayne's request.
