Obituary of Earl L. Mathewson

Earl L. Mathewson, age 83, of Broadalbin passed away on Saturday August 13, 2011 at the Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam. He was born in Amsterdam, NY on December 22, 1927 the son of the late Earl and Mable Walthousen Mathewson. Earl is survived by his four children: Charlene Fonda Joseph of Glen, NY, Douglas Mathewson of Broadalbin, NY, Cathy Visscher Michael of Lake Pleasant, NY, Lori Mathewson of Fultonville, NY, five grandchildren: Stacey Fonda, Carrie Ann Freese, Richard Clemens, Courtney Clemens, C.J. Mathewson, as well as 7 great grandchildren: Austin, Noah, Christian, Andrea, Staysha, Hanna and Joey. Funeral Services for Earl will be private and held at the convenience of the family. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 West Main Street, Broadalbin.
