Obituary of Constance LaGreca Hazzard
Constance LaGreca Hazzard, 78, of Gloversville, died Tuesday, August 23 at home with her family by her side.
She was born June 6, 1933 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late Leo and Vivian Schoolcraft Corsette.
She was employed at Johnstown Knit for over twenty years.
Constance was a loving and outgoing woman. Anybody who came in contact with her fell in love. She cared a lot about her friends and family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved gardening, fishing and going on picnics with her family. Constance lived and breathed for her dog, Benji. She will be very sadly missed by many.
Survivors include four sons: Albert LaGreca, Jr. of Gloversville, Leo LaGreca of Gloversville, Anthony LaGreca Michelle of Johnstown and Mark LaGreca of Gloversville; three daughters: Alberta Hart Thomas of Ephratah, Mary Beth DiCaterino of Gloversville and Jean Garhartt George of Gloversville; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, David "Butch" Corsette and four sisters: Debbie Supple, Dolores Schmidtman, Jean Schmidtman and Sandra Corsette.
In addition to her parents, Constance was predeceased by her beloved first husband, Albert LaGreca and her loving second husband, Gordon Hazzard; two brothers: Bob and Gary Corsette and two sisters: Beverly Drozinski and Patricia Herhozler.
There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078.
