Obituary of Anna S. Coddington

Anna Coddington. of Randall NY, entered into eternal rest on March 8th, 2018, at the age of 99. Born in Fiery Hill to Frank and Rebecca Suits she spent her early years on the family farm. She was married to Ervin Coddington, who predeceased her, as did her sisters, Peggy Friers and Hazel Wells. After a long career at Beechnut Foods in Canajoharie, she retired as a homemaker. Her crocheted afghans won many awards at the Fonda Fair and are treasured by the family members she shared them with. She is survived by her son, Richard Coddington, also of Randall, as well as several nephews, Jack Coddington, Lawrence Coddington, Clarence Coddington Jr., Gerald Coddington, Ralph Friers, and Frank Friers, and their families. The family would like to extend profound thanks to the many caregivers, aides, and health care providers who cared for Anna in her later years. Funeral services will be held at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St., Fultonville, NY on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 1PM.
