Obituary of Brenda Blovsky Fremont
Brenda (Blovsky) Fremont of Gloversville, 53, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 19, 2018.
Born in Huntington Station, NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert Blovsky and Betty Lohr Blovsky. A graduate of Walt Whitman High School, Brenda relocated to Gloversville in 1983, where her parents still have a summer home on the Sacandaga Lake. She was employed by the CVS in Johnstown, NY for many years, ending her career there as the store manager.
Brenda was an avid fan of tennis and the New York Yankees. Her favorite pastime was vacationing in Wildwood, NJ as well as Mexico and the Caribbean. She especially loved her cats Kali, Pudgie and Ivy. They were her "babies".
Surviving are her loving husband Donald "Donnie"; mother Betty Blovsky; brother Bruce Blovsky (Jennifer); mother and father-in-law Donald and Glenna Fremont; sister-in-law Brenda Fremont (Jeff); as well as several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 25 at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any animal welfare organization such as the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, NY 12078.
