Obituary of Norah June Allison Chamberlain

Norah June Allison Chamberlain peacefully went home to her lord surrounded by her children on Wednesday, March 20, 2018. She was born June 8, 1945 to Sheila and Terrance Billington in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She moved to the states as a young girl. As a teenager, she was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She also managed a tea room at a Bed & Breakfast in Maine. Her greatest joy was making a home for her 6 children: Christine (Bob) Gerber, Marlana (Rich) Scott, Elizabeth Phillips, Bre Chamberlain, Chad (Dinah) Chamberlain, Jacob Chamberlain, and her two-stepchildren Tracy (Scott) Higgenbotham and Jill (Dino) Delviscio. 12 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She was an artist, and writer, and a lover of all people. She was an active member of her church prior to her illness. A very spiritual women of faith, she never claimed a denomination only saying that she was a Christian. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday March 23, 2018 at 2pm at the Baptist Church of Northville, 111 N. First St. Northville, NY 12134. Following the services there will be a gathering at the Fox Run Golf Club 129 County Hwy 142A, Johnstown, NY 12095 from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions in Norah's memory may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 108 Steele Ave, Gloversville, NY 12078 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation Of America 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
