We were sad to see you go Lynn. Forty years of friendship starting with our jobs at the YWCA in St. Joseph. You visited me in Hawaii with your Mom. You were an outstanding friend, leader, and adventurer, loving nature and exploring the world. Will miss our visits in Wauchula. To a great life lived, Lynn, spirit of the eagle.

I am so sorry for your loss of Lynn. Lynn did so much for me, I got to go places, see things, taste new foods I had never heard of, just experience a life that was made possible because of her adventurous spirit, determination and very generous ways. When I did not feel like doing anything, Lynn said lets go and I was always glad I did. She cared about people, she listened, and was always there to help. She was there for my Mom and Dad, she was their New York daughter, my New York sister, there is no way to express how much she will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss of Lynn. She was a very unique person who knew how to enjoy life. I met Lynn through mutual friends with whom we went kayaking on several different lakes and had a fantastic time! I learned different techniques of kayaking from Lynn, which helped me kayak more efficiently and go faster...she was a great instructor. She willingly shared her knowledge and expertise. She was tireless in helping us all load and unload our kayaks and carrying, or should I say, shlepping, them down to the water.
I'll never forget the last time the group went kayaking, how much fun we all had and how Lynn looked like the essence of good health and happiness.
I will always remember her this way.
Lynn and I shared our love and devotion for animals, especially our dawgz.
I will miss Lynn and reflect on the good times we shared.
Sincerely,
Carla Relkin

Our deepest sympathies to you Tom and to your family. And our heartfelt gratitude to you Angie for representing all of Lynn's "Michigan family" and taking such wonderful care of her since her difficult diagnosis. My husband Jack and I met Lynn not long after we had moved to Michigan when we were doing a pet therapy program with our black lab, Zuni, at the Council on Aging where Lynn worked. We were surprised that we both had a dog named Zuni (hers a small Jack Russell mix puppy that she had recently rescued along with its mother (Shawnee). Lynn even had them with her there in her office at work. It was only after a brief conversation that we discovered that we were actually neighbors living down the road from each other but had just never met. We laughed that the only two Zunis in the world lived in the same neighborhood. From that day forward we became friends and often walked our "Zunis" together along with Shawnee and later Apache and Hopi. We even showed up on "Google Maps" walking the dogs one day. I suspect Lynn has already picked up her other beloved dogs (and kitties) at the "Rainbow Bridge" and is running freely and happily with them all now in a much better place. We will miss you Lynn.

Met Lynn at the YWCA in St. Joseph MI. I was supposed to be her boss. That never happened. Definitely coworkers. She was very independent . We became great friends. She definitely loved the casino. We never bet much but had a lot of fun. She will be greatly missed.
Thanks Angie for staying with her to the end.
Rest in peace my dear friend

I will surely miss her sparkling eyes and laughter, love of animals and compassion for
The elderly. I will miss calling her Pinhead and sending pictures to her of crusted edges of an emptied out casserole dish . Lynn and I shared scraping out the edges together with our spoons, teasing each other to , "stay on your own side" of the dish, laughing the whole time. She loved her family and best friend Angela with her whole heart. Now she is gliding along the path's of heaven, exploring all there is to see, adding to the beauty above with her lively presence. We will all miss her..... she was special :rowboat::skin-tone-3:♂️

So many memories....our summers will never be the same. I am so grateful to have known her. My deepest sympathies to Angie Nonn who stood by her until her last breath. Brother Tom and nephew Mark helped through her challenging illness.
There was never a task that she couldn't excel at. When faced with a mechanical inconvenience, she would figure it out or get help from her cousin Bruce. Her endurance and determination was also exhibited throughout her illness. I shall miss the summer texts asking if we could come out,to play. The wonderful adventures on the lake were enhanced by her presence.

I remember the day I met Lynn. Her brother Tom and I were engaged and had flown from W.Germany to New York before the wedding. We arrived at their parents camp on the lake. She was wearing shorts as it was early August and asked me if I knew how to water ski. I said no, she then asked if I wanted to learn. I looked at her, looked at her legs which were bruised from mid thigh to mid calf and asked if that those were from skiing. She said yes. I promptly and laughingly said no thanks as I didn't want to be bruised up and sore before our wedding. I didn't find out till later that the bruises were from her trying to learn how to water ski barefoot. She was never afraid to try something new.
