Obituary of Jeannette Seyfried

Jeannette M. Seyfried, 83 of Gloversville, NY, passed away at Nathan Littauer Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Gloversville on July 24, 1940, the daughter of George S. and Jeannette (Girard) Morgan.  

Jeannette was a graduate of Gloversville High School and married the love of her life, Walter R. Seyfried, on February 24, 1963 at St. Mary's Church in Gloversville. They went on to have two children that she cherished until her last breath. Jeannette enjoyed baking, casinos, holidays, making crafts, hallmark movies and more than anything, spending time with her family. 

Jeannette worked at JM Rubin & Sons and went on to work at Samco LLC. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. 

Jeannette is survived by her husband, Walter R. Seyfried, and they had 61 beautiful years together. She is also survived by her two children: Stephen Seyfried (Sandra) and Debra Seyfried. She is also survived by grandchildren Kayla Seyfried, Joy Seyfried, Jessica Seyfried, April Feathers, Emily Seyfried, Chad Seyfried and Brittany Seyfried; and great grandchildren Brody Doyle and Daphne Doyle. 

Jeannette was predeceased by her parents and her brother. 

The family will receive relatives and friends from 11am to 1pm Thursday, June 6th at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville, where a Funeral Service will follow at 1pm with the Rev. Dr. RW Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
