Obituary of Margaret Cetnar
Margaret (Spamy) Cetnar, 81, previously of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 25, 1942, in Amsterdam, a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Felaco) Andolina.
Margaret was a graduate of Amsterdam High School. She worked at Citizens Communications in Johnstown, where she wore many hats throughout her career, retiring as an analyst/instructor in their engineering department.
Margaret enjoyed spending time at the beach and pool while in Florida and vacationing in Rhode Island, Cape Code, and Maine with her family and friends. Always an avid reader, she also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, and playing cards with her friends. Besides always having a freshly brewed cup of coffee in her hand, her time in the kitchen was spent making her favorites dishes--she was an excellent cook. Most importantly, Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend, and so much more. Her family was her pride and joy.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Farley; brother, Sal Andolina (late Cleo); sister, Arlene Agresta (late Frank); grandchildren, Richard Farley (Kelli) and Kristen Morgan (Justin); great-grandchildren, Natalie Farley and Wesley Morgan. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Margaret was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jane Buanno (late Frank).
