Obituary of Kathryn A. Bovee

Kathryn A. Bovee, 71, of Gloversville, New York passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2024 at Nathan Littauer Hospital with her loving family by her side. A life-long area resident, Kathryn was born in Gloversville on July 2, 1952 to the late Clyde and Almeda (Trollbridge) Kenyon.

Kathryn attended local schools, and graduated from Mayfield schools, and earned a certificate in Cosmetology through BOCES. She devoted her life to her family, raising her three children. Kathryn loved to play games, especially on her tablet. She also enjoyed crocheting, and going out for a meal whenever she had the chance.

Kathryn's loving family includes her significant other, Andrew Snyder; her children, John (Stacey) Rose and Kelly (Kathy) Cook; her grandchildren, Troy Hayes and Brooke Rose; her siblings, Mark (Carol) Kenyon and Sandra Frank; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Aside from her parents, Clyde and Almeda Kenyon, Kathryn is also preceded in passing by her daughter, Tiffany Gosselin, as well as by her sister, Vicki Polenski.

Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, New York.
