Obituary of Barbara B. O'Donnell

Barbara B. O'Donnell, age 88, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

She was born March 3, 1936, in North Bush, the daughter of Ransselear and Bertha (Benedict) Pedrick. She was employed at various companies in the area and retired from MCA Record Co. in 2006. Her hobbies included cooking, crocheting, reading, painting, and taking care of her pets.

Barbara is survived by three children, Bonnie Wiltey (David), Carmine O'Donnell Jr. (Lisa), Joseph O'Donnell (Lisa); four grandchildren, Christopher Wiltey (Stephanie), Nicholas Wiltey (Kayleigh), Samantha O'Donnell and Matthew O'Donnell; six great grandchildren, Chloe O'Donnell, Ethan Watson, Owen Watson, Sophia O'Donnell, Thea Wiltey and Emma Wiltey; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Her life-long friend, Pauline Pitcavage, also survives.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Carmine O'Donnell Sr; as well as all of her siblings, Raymond Pedrick, Clayton Pedrick, Ernest Pedrick, Douglas Pedrick, Gladys Anderson, Blanche Smith, Laura Pedrick and Virginia Ford.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd. Gloversville, NY 12078.
