Obituary of Elizabeth M. Valentin

Amsterdam – Elizabeth Maria Valentin, 68, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at home. 

Born on April 19, 1956, in Manhattan, daughter of the late Felix Pagan and Antonia Nogueras.  

Liz took great pride in being there for so many people; she worked as a home health aide for Visiting Nurses; throughout her career she grew a deep love for so many people and was loved by everyone. Liz was a strong, caring, loving and independent women; but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and so much more. Liz will truly be missed by all who knew her. 

Liz is survived by her loving children, James Valentin, Jennifer Valentin and Jorge Sepulveda; granddaughter, Jennifer Marie Valentin; siblings, Yvonne Masood, Frank Rios, Nicolas Valentin, Victor N. DiNapoli, Vilma Valentin, Carmen Valentin and Eddie Noguera; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services for Liz will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 1pm, where calling hours will be held prior beginning at 11am at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Liz will be buried in a private service graveside service at Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.
