Obituary of Josephine DeSisto

Amsterdam - Josephine DeSisto, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

Born on July 22, 1938, in Amsterdam, a daughter of the late Ralph and Lillian (Andolina) Fiore. A graduated of Amsterdam High School. Josephine was a bookkeeper for Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Ralph DeSisto, who predeceased her in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bryant (Jeffrey); sister, Gloria Yevoli (Larry); grandchildren, Gina Burke (Joseph), Shannon Frasier (Ricky) and Janae Bryant; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Lily and Lucy Burke, Raegan, Maci and Bo Frasier; nephews, Larry (Melissa), Paul (Ashley) and Michael Yevoli.

A memorial service for Josephine will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 11am with Fr. Nate Resila officiating, where a calling hour will be held prior beginning at 10am at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Amsterdam.
