Obituary of Diccie L. Minery

Diccie L. Minery, 75, passed away on Friday April 12, 2024, at St Mary’s Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Diccie was born in Detroit Michigan on December 11, 1948, where she was adopted shortly after by her parents Clifton and Novella Carothers. Her family moved to Tennessee, where she resided for 30 years. Later in life, she moved to Amsterdam, NY where she has been a local ever since.

One of Diccie’s many hobbies was thrifting and crafting. She enjoyed taking something used and giving it new life again. She liked to listen to classic country music and loved cats. More than anything, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Clifton and Novella Carothers.

Diccie is survived by her children Robert (Nicole) Minery and Millie Minery Boswell; as well her grandchildren Zander Brown, Liliana Minery, Piper Minery, Justin Boswell, and Jayna Boswell.

In keeping with Diccie’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
