Obituary of Bertha A. Francisco

Bertha “Beth” A. Francisco, 74, passed away on Monday April 8, 2024, at home in Hagaman, NY with her loving family by her side. 

 

Beth was born on November 28, 1949, in Amsterdam, NY to the late Walter and Gertrude (Destocki) Adamkoski. She resided locally her entire life, graduating from Perth High School. After graduation, Beth began working as a secretary for Amsterdam Print and later for Liberty ARC, where she was employed for over 25 years. Bertha went back to school later in life, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fulton Montgomery Community College with her associate degree.  

 

Beth was married to Lyn Francisco on December 1, 1967. They spent nearly 63 wonderful years together and spent their last few years retired in Florida before his passing on October 15, 2021. 

 

She was predeceased by her husband Lyn Francisco; parents Walter and Gertrude Adamkoski; grandson Xzavier Francisco; sister Gladys Hopper; brother Joe Adamkoski; brother-in-law Wayne Francisco; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

 

Bertha is survived by her children William P. Francisco and Heather Guzman; grandchildren William J. Francisco, Jezabella Francisco, and Arkelius Guzman; brothers Albert and Walter Adamkoski; sisters Katherine Kronk and Cathleen Canary; and sister-in-laws Judy (Eddie) Meehan, Debbi Menger, and Becky Francisco. 

 

In keeping with Beth’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
