Obituary of Wilfred John Allen Jr.

Wilfred John “Billy” Allen, 31, of Gloversville, New York, passed away on March 12, 2024 in Amsterdam, New York. Billy was born on April 28, 1992 in Gloversville to Wilfred and Heather (Anderson) Allen Sr. He attended local schools, and was a graduate of Gloversville High School.

Billy was the kind of person whose light shown so bright throughout his lifetime. He was a loving father to his two daughters, who were the lights of his life, and the center of his universe. Billy loved music, he also was an extremely talented artist who enjoyed cooking and fishing in his spare time. Billy will be remembered for his kind disposition and quirky nature, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His loving family includes his mother, Heather Fegley; his daughters, Kyla Jade and Ekko Allen; his siblings, Mike (Danielle) Anderson, Chelsie Allen, Trevor Anderson, Joshua Fegley, and Paul Allen; his grandparents, Deborah and James Anderson Sr; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in passing by his father, Wilfred John Allen Sr.

A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at Foothills Worship Center, 305 Jansen Ave, Johnstown, NY on March 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, with Pastor Brad Chesebro presiding. Billy will be laid to rest in Ferndale Cemetery, 545 North Perry Street, Johnstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. Memorial contributions may be made in Billy’s memory to a charity of one’s choosing.
