Obituary of Shirley E. Dopp

Fort Johnson- Shirley E. Dopp, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.

Born on June 6, 1932, in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late William and Vivian (Gethin) McCullough.

A lifelong resident of the area, Shirley was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School, class of 1950. For the last 62 years, Shirley has resided in Fort Johnson. She is a past member of St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Amsterdam.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Debbie Mullarkey; grandsons, Joseph Mullarkey III and Matthew Mullarkey; great and great great grandchildren; cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Shirley will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1pm, calling hours will be held prior beginning at 11am at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Amsterdam.
